Terms & Conditions

1. Practitioner Information
 

These Terms & Conditions apply to all consultations and services provided by Charlotte Good Health.

Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy is the application of nutrition and lifestyle science to support health and wellbeing. Recommendations are personalised to the individual and designed to support the body's natural processes.

Nutritional Therapy is complementary to medical care and is not a replacement for diagnosis, treatment or advice from your GP or other healthcare professional.
 

2. Scope of Practice
 

As a qualified Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist I:

  • Provide evidence-informed nutrition and lifestyle advice.

  • May recommend dietary changes, supplements and functional testing where appropriate.

  • Do not diagnose medical conditions.

  • Do not prescribe medication.

  • Do not advise clients to stop or alter prescribed medication without approval from their GP or consultant.
     

If I identify symptoms that require medical investigation, I will advise you to seek appropriate medical care.
 

3. Consultations
 

Initial consultation: 90-120 minutes

Follow-up consultation: 30-60 minutes
 

Appointments may be conducted:

  • In person

  • Online via secure video consultation
     

Personalised nutrition plans are normally sent within 5–7 working days following your appointment.
 

4. Fees & Payment
 

Payment is required before your consultation unless otherwise agreed.
 

Accepted payment methods include:

  • Bank transfer
     

Supplement costs, laboratory testing and other third-party services are not included within consultation fees unless clearly stated.
 

5. Cancellation Policy
 

Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge with 48 hours' notice.

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice, or missed appointments, will be charged in full.

If I need to cancel your appointment, an alternative appointment will be offered as soon as possible.
 

6. Discovery Calls
 

Discovery calls are free and intended to determine whether Nutritional Therapy is appropriate for your needs.

No personalised nutritional advice or treatment recommendations will be provided during a discovery call.
 

7. Supplements & Functional Testing
 

Where appropriate, supplements and functional laboratory testing may be recommended.
 

These recommendations are:
 

  • Optional

  • Based on your individual case

  • Not included within consultation fees unless stated
     

You are under no obligation to purchase supplements through me.
 

8. Client Responsibilities
 

By booking a consultation you agree to:
 

  • Provide accurate and honest health information.

  • Inform me of any changes to your medication or diagnosis.

  • Inform me if you become pregnant during a programme.

  • Follow recommendations only as directed.

  • Contact me if you experience any unexpected or adverse reactions.

  • Continue regular care with your GP or specialist where appropriate.
     

9. Results
 

Whilst every effort is made to provide the highest standard of care, no guarantees can be made regarding outcomes.


Health improvements vary depending upon:

  • Individual circumstances

  • Medical history

  • Lifestyle

  • Compliance with recommendations
     

10. Confidentiality & Data Protection
 

Your personal information is confidential and stored securely in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Information will only be shared:
 

  • With your written consent

  • Where required by law

  • Where there is a serious safeguarding concern

11. GP Communication
 

With your consent, I may communicate with your GP or other healthcare professionals where this would support your care.
 

12. Email Support
 

Reasonable email support is available between consultations for brief questions relating to your programme.

Extensive nutritional advice or review of new health concerns may require an additional consultation.
 

13. Children
 

Clients under the age of 18 must attend consultations with a parent or legal guardian.
 

14. Complaints
 

If you are unhappy with any aspect of the service provided, please contact me directly so we can attempt to resolve the matter promptly.

If a resolution cannot be reached, you may raise a complaint through my professional regulatory body where appropriate.
 

15. Acceptance
 

Booking an appointment confirms that you:
 

  • Have read these Terms & Conditions.

  • Understand the nature of Nutritional Therapy.

  • Agree to these Terms & Conditions.

  • Consent to working together under these conditions.
